I went up to Glasgow last week to celebrate my great pal Ross King's MBE. Ross booked a place called St. Andrews on the square in Glasgow and invited about 150 friends and family. He also organised, as a surprise, Jason Donovan to drop in and do a couple of songs. It was a great moment when he walked on stage and straight into one of his hits. I booked the BANDIOKIE to play. ( they are the band we use for the panto party every year.) They were, as usual, amazing. Aunty May made a surprise appearance and was quite cruel with a little specially penned poem. We drank late into the night. By the way I stayed at a fantastic hotel called The DAkota in the city centre. Well worth a visit next time in Glasgow Michael. Then it was back home with a hangover and off to the Victoria for a little trip. Unfortunately I'm missing Jane's concerts in Hyde Park last week and this week because of work. I really wanted to see Bruno Mars and Bubbbbbbbbley. Ah well next time. This weather makes me so happy. Every morning breakfast in the garden, and then wander around in my shorts.....not a pretty sight. The skinniest legs in the business. We've had BBQ's ever night.....love it. By the way Mr Harrison didn't listen to me and didn't buy the special bbq mats for his big bbq last week. Consequently one of his guests passed out on the sofa with charcoal poisoning. Listen to the Master Mr H.
